One of the guys I was most impressed with during the public spring practice was Jordan Hall and there’s always one guy who is an elite leader who plays early on because he’s just mature enough to realize what the coaching staff needs from him.

Hall was a three-time captain at IMG Academy which is just unheard of and if he can be a leader for that group of players, there’s no doubt he can — and will — lead a college program.

The talented four-star linebacker from IMG Academy has a disadvantage of joining a team that has a number of solid players at the position and whose defensive coordinator runs a 4-2-5. Could Scottie Hazelton decide to run more of a 4-3 in 2023? Potentially, but he’s known for his 4-2-5 scheme and stuck to it through even the toughest stretches.

If there is a 4-3 implemented, I would not be shocked to see Hall crack the starting rotation and create a heck of a linebacking corps next to Cal Haladay and Jacoby Windmon.
