3. Marcus Bingham Jr. averages 3.0 blocks

This might not be incredibly bold considering Bingham Jr. is already averaging 3.0 blocks per game through the first two contests of the season, but keeping that up for an entire eight-game stretch would be impressive.

Actually, by the time the month of December ends, he’d have 10 games with a 3.0 average in blocks, giving him 30 on the young season.

And I see that happening.

Bingham Jr. has looked like a much more motivated and capable defender this season and adding that extra mass to his upper body has helped. He looks like one of the best defenders on the team and is a guy you definitely don’t want to go at if you’re an opposing big. He’s got long arms and a knack for finding the ball. Bingham Jr. can be an elite shot-blocker with the right motivation.

He has six blocks through two games this season but I see him averaging 3.0 for the remainder of December, adding at least 24 blocks to hit total. If he continues this pace, he could be one of the best post defenders in the Big Ten.
