3. A healthy Josh Langford

Every Michigan State fan wants to see this and not just because of their own selfish reasons, but also because Josh Langford is a good dude and deserves to go out on top.

More from Spartans Basketball

Langford’s first two seasons in a Michigan State uniform were solid as he developed one of the prettiest mid-range jumpers in the Big Ten. He was off to a red-hot start as a junior, averaging a career-high 15 points per game while shooting over 40 percent from deep and then he went down with a foot injury. He was eventually ruled out for the year and he returned in 2019-20 as a senior.

The senior was on track to join the team to begin the year, finally healthy, but he suffered a setback and missed the entire season. He mentioned earlier on that he wouldn’t pursue a fifth season but he had a change of heart and now returns for his third season as a captain.

Having a healthy Langford would be huge for Michigan State not only because he could be an All-Big Ten player, but he’s also a valuable leader.

This team will rally around Langford and if he plays like he is capable while remaining healthy, he’s going to make Michigan State better in every way.
