3. Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen, 3-star WR (Walled Lake, Mich.)

This is one of those kids that would be a huge flip. Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen has been committed to Northwestern since last December and it seems like he’s dead-set on becoming a Wildcat.

But Michigan State’s offer in early-November made his future a little less clear.

More from Recruiting

Being from the state of Michigan, the draw of staying close to home has to be attractive for Yaseen, but Northwestern offers a lot as an academic school as well. He can play football and get a world-class education at arguably the Big Ten’s top academic program or he could stay close to home and still get a good education, but not Northwestern-level.

It’s a tough decision and it’s one that Mark Dantonio hopes that he can help make with a visit before he officially signs with the Wildcats.

Yaseen is one of the best recruits in the state of Michigan, ranking 14th, and he is No. 443 nationally as well as the No. 81 receiver, per 247Sports.

While he might not be a lean toward the Spartans, they are making a strong push for him before National Signing Day and he’s a kid you can’t write off just yet.
