1. Plenty of room for growth

Not often can you say that a team which started 7-2 with wins over Penn State and Michigan (two top-10 teams at the time) still has plenty of room to grow, but Michigan State does. The Spartans were dismantled by a more talented and experienced Ohio State team on Saturday afternoon, showing that this squad has plenty of room for growth.

Don’t let the 45-point loss to the Buckeyes discount what we have learned about the Spartans this year. We have learned that they aren’t afraid of the big stage and when playing focused football, they can hang with almost anyone.

Oh yeah, and they’re one of the youngest teams in college football. The ceiling is immeasurable right now and the future is extremely bright. This team has just scratched the surface and the room for growth is evident.
