The month of November is finally upon us and it’s time to check in on Michigan State recruiting and make some bold predictions.

Michigan State has been on a roll lately. Thanks to a heck of a rebound from the football program and a No. 2 preseason ranking from the basketball team, the Spartans have been able to pick up steam on the recruiting trails.

Both Tom Izzo and Mark Dantonio have plenty of bragging rights at their disposal and it’s always interesting to see just how much easier recruiting is when you’re winning. Both coaches have had to make decisions based on commitments based on available room in each class — that’s good news.

With a big month of November looming, it’s time for Dantonio to sew up his 2018 class and for Izzo to get a jumpstart on 2019.

Here are five recruiting bold predictions for the month of November.

5. Tommy Bush trends toward MSU after visit

It says a lot about a kid if he’s willing to visit despite having a playoff game on Friday night all the way down in Texas. Four-star receiver Tommy Bush will be the guest of honor for Saturday afternoon’s game against Penn State as he will be on his official to East Lansing.

Bush was originally scheduled to take his official this weekend, assuming it would be at least a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff, but with both teams losing last week, it has been slotted for noon and that made the visit plans complicated. However, he recently announced the visit is still on, but he may be late to the game.

This is his first trip to East Lansing and it’s surprising since the Spartans were one of the first programs to offer the 6-foot-5, 191-pound Schertz, Texas, native. He has always been high on the Spartans, but never got to see the campus up close. This could be a major game-changer.

After his visit this weekend for the Penn State game, and especially if the Spartans win, you will hear rumors about Bush trending heavily toward Michigan State. If he’s willing to rush to East Lansing after a Friday night playoff game, you know he’s serious about the school. Could this be the deciding factor, though?

Bush is the No. 174 overall player in the class, according to 247Sports.
