While the Big Ten East title is likely out the window, barring an epic Ohio State collapse, a 10-win season is still in the Spartans’ sights. Michigan State could win out in the regular season to improve to 9-3 — quite the turnaround from 3-9 a year ago — and then win its bowl game to improve to 10-3.

If that happens, could you imagine the type of praise Mark Dantonio would get. Everyone would forget about this blowout loss to Ohio State if the Spartans were to win 10 games a season after going 3-9.
