Hailing as one of the most exciting recruits in the 2016 class and a guy who could quite possibly end up as the most successful pro out of all the players coming out, five-star small forward Miles Bridges is getting ready to make his college announcement on Saturday. His finalists are Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan State.

More from Recruiting

The latter two seem to be the leaders for his services right now and all signs point to the Spartans being the front-runner to land Bridges on Saturday afternoon.

Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo has been recruiting the Flint-native for quite some time and even though he plays high school ball is West Virginia right now, he will be coming back home to make his announcement in front of friends and family.

Recruiting ‘experts’ had been calling Bridges a lock to Kentucky for basically the entire summer and even the start of fall, but after his Sept. 12 visit to East Lansing, the Spartans seemed to gain serious ground and even surpass the Wildcats and head coach John Calipari.

Although Kentucky seems to bring in the nation’s top recruits every year and they usually go pro after a season, Izzo seems to be on the track to have his best class ever and his recruiting style may be changing, slowly but surely.

No one, besides Miles himself, knows where the young superstar prospect is going to land as of right now, but there’s a pretty good feeling in the air that it’s going to be Michigan State.

Let’s take a look at five reasons why we think he will choose the Spartans.
