Yes, another kid from the DMV area in which the Spartans have been going after for the past couple recruiting cycles. Michigan State is relatively new to recruiting the area, but it could make a serious splash by reeling in a kid like Tyshon Fogg who just received his offer from Michigan State on June 14 following a visit on the previous day.

More from Recruiting

Fogg has said that he wants to go to school with fellow Maryland-native Kasim Hill who is No. 9 on this list, in case you didn’t remember. This means that a package deal for the two kids is almost inevitable and the only two programs to offer both kids are Michigan State and Syracuse.

Tyshon is 6-foot-2, 216 pounds, but still has plenty of time to bulk up even more as he can afford to fill out a bit more. He’s an aggressive outside linebacker with a high football IQ — something that Spartan linebackers have been known for.

This is a kid who really hasn’t had much exposure, but will be a household name by the time next summer rolls around.

The 2017 class could be filled with linebacker targets as the 2016 group only snagged a couple. Fogg, like Hill, could cause a domino-effect in the DMV area for Michigan State commitments.
