Tom Izzo and Michigan State basketball have added a number of targets to their ever-growing 2026 recruiting board and it's refreshing to see that they're not putting all their eggs in one basket.

Izzo has been burned plenty over the years by going all-in on a few guys but then not having a backup plan to rely on, but he's learned from that and has his sights set on several top prospects still, even after landing four-star point guard Carlos Medlock Jr.

Guys like Jasiah Jervis, Quinn Costello, and Julius Avent are all planning to visit Michigan State over the next 1.5 months and there will surely be more targets on campus this fall.

An option could be four-star "explosive wing" Anthony Felesi from Utah.

According to a recent report, the Spartans are one of six programs that have been reaching out to the four-star wing from utah who's ranked in the top 50 nationally.

Kentucky, Missouri, Michigan State, Duke, Purdue, and Michigan are also reaching out to the talented wing from Utah and it looks like that may be his current top six. It's interesting to see that Izzo is in on an elite wing from out west but he does have a Utah native on his roster heading into 2025-26 (Jaxon Kohler).

According to the report, Felesi is an explosive wing who plays at a high level on both ends of the floor. If you know anything about Izzo, he loves his two-way players who put forth a serious effort on defense. That's how he decides his minutes every season.

Felesi is ranked the No. 46 overall recruit and 19th-best small forward in the 2026 class. He also holds offers from Louisville, UCLA, BYU, LSU, Oregon, Utah, and Villanova.

This would be a nice, quiet win for Izzo and Co.
