Tom Izzo and his staff have been on a roll on the recruiting trail. Yes, I know they haven’t earned a commitment yet, but the amount of work they are putting in on the trail is remarkable.

Izzo and his staff have seemingly visited with a new recruit every day for a while now, including the younger brother of Jeremy Fears. On top of all of these in-person recruiting visits Izzo is making, he’s also getting a lot of his top targets to schedule official visits to Michigan State basketball as well.

That is exactly what happened again on Sunday as one of the top players in the country just announced his intentions to visit East Lansing this fall.

Davion Hannah is a four-star combo guard from Branson, Mo. According to 247Sports composite rankings, Hannah is the No. 29 player in the entire country. He also is the No. 4 combo guard as well as the No. 3 player from Missouri as well.

Hannah made a big announcement on Sunday sharing a handful of official visits coming up. One of those visits is to Michigan State on Sept. 27. This visit coincides with the football team’s home game against Ohio State, so him visiting East Lansing during the biggest home football game of the year should be a good time.

Hannah also announced that he will be taking visits to Alabama, Louisville, Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Wake Forest this fall as well.

There have been no official predictions made in Hannah’s recruitment yet, but it appears these schools could be his top six. Time will tell how this recruitment shapes out, but Izzo once again has Michigan State firmly in the mix with an extremely talented recruit. So let’s hope Hannah’s visit at the end of September goes extremely well and puts MSU at the top of his list.
