If there's one target in the 2025 class that has to sit atop Michigan State basketball's board, it would be five-star wing Trey McKenney.

The five-star from Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's has been atop Tom Izzo's board for some time now and the Hall of Fame head coach is working hard to land him in the 2025 class. He could be the perfect start to the class and he could help recruit other guys to join him.

But it looks like his recruitment is far from over.

In fact, his official visit schedule for the fall/winter was posted on Wednesday and it looks like he's going to be mulling a decision over into December.

As you can see from his visit schedule McKenney, starts his visit schedule in early September and runs it all the way through Dec. 4 at Creighton. This seems like it 's going to lead to a lengthy recruiting process even though it feels like Izzo has been turning up the pressure in recent weeks.

McKenney will visit USC (Sept. 1), Michigan (Sept. 21), MSU (Oct. 4), Oregon (Oct. 12), Ohio State (Oct. 26), Notre Dame (Nov. 9), and Creighton (Dec. 4).

So if he actually finishes out his entire visit schedule, he wouldn't be making a college decision until at least December and that would mean Michigan State would likely have to look elsewhere for that "first commit" of the 2025 class.

Sure, there's always a chance he could commit to Michigan State on his visit and cancel the rest of his visits, but this one feels like it's far from over.
