Tom Izzo's 2025 recruiting class has been relatively quiet to this point in the offseason. Michigan State basketball fans have been patiently awaiting that first commitment of the class but it feels like it could be right around the corner.

Izzo has been putting his eggs in a number of different baskets so there are options in the 2025 class which is a nice change.

The Spartans may have zero commitments, but Izzo is high on the list for a number of elite prospects including five-stars Trey McKenney, Dwayne Aristode, Chris Cenac, Niko Bundalo, Jalen Haralson, Darius Adams, and Davion Hannah.

Guys like McKenney and Aristode have been trending toward the Spartans in recent months and it feels like Michigan State may very well be the team to beat there.

And it's not just five-star prospects that Izzo is making moves with, it's top-100 prospects like Trent Sisley, Cam Ward, and Jordan Scott, too.

Michigan State is going to be making plenty of moves with these top targets throughout the season as the Spartans have gotten some official visits scheduled with each. In fact, McKenney will be on campus for Midnight Madness in October and Aristode will be in East Lansing next weekend for the start of the Spartans' football season.

This class will likely have room for 3-4 guys and I'd bet that McKenney is part of it along with potentially Aristode. And my dream additions would be Bundalo, Haralson, and Scott to round out the group.

If that happens, Izzo may sign yet another top-five class and make it three straight years with a top-16 class in the country and the top-rated in the Big Ten.

Folks, the 2025 group looks like it'll be special.
