In case you somehow missed this news, former Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio will be inducted into the Spartans' Ring of Honor this weekend when MSU takes on Ohio State on Saturday.

There is no greater coach in Michigan State football history than Dantonio who took the Spartans out of the ashes and brought them to national prominence. There also isn’t a better game to do this for because Dantonio spent some time as an assistant at Ohio State early in his career. He also is the one coach that OSU fans probably fear the most because of all the wins he has over the Buckeyes when they were legit national title contenders.

So to honor Dantonio ahead of this weekend I thought it’d be fun to revisit some of his best wins from his tenure in East Lansing. This list was very hard to come up with because there are 10-15 games where an argument could be made, but here is my list of the top five wins from Dantonio’s tenure.

Honorable Mention

•Trouble with the Snap against Michigan in 2015
•2011 Hail Mary win against Wisconsin
•2015 road victory at Ohio State without Connor Cook
•3OT win in 2012 Outback Bowl vs. Georgia
