3. Big guard/wing that can shoot

One thing that Michigan State will have plenty of next season is solid guard play. But one thing MSU may not have in many of their guards is elite 3-point shooting and someone who is big, physical and can get a lot of rebounds. That is something I think Tom Izzo should think about addressing in the portal.

Similarly to the last point, this is a position that Izzo has already targeted in the portal as well. The first is J'Vonne Hadley from Colorado who is a 6-foot-6, 205-pound wing. He is coming off a season in which he averaged 11.6 points and six rebounds per game. He also was 42 percent from 3-point range, making him a perfect fit for this mold. Unfortunately, it appears he is trending to Iowa State as the Cyclones picked up two crystal ball predictions to land him on Saturday.

All hope isn't lost however as Michigan State has also been linked with Keyshawn Hall. Hall is another big guard at 6-foot-7 who shot 36 percent from beyond the arc this season. The nice thing about Hall is that he can also play the four as well, so he could fill another need for MSU next season, too. Not much is known yet about Hall's recruitment, but Michigan State appears to be firmly in the mix.
