Wide Receiver 3: Nick Marsh

Last up is true freshman Nick Marsh. Yes, you read that correctly, I’m predicting a true freshman will be starting for Michigan State this fall.

Marsh is the highest ranked recruit in the incoming freshman class at No. 107 in the country, according to 247Sports. He also is the No. 22 receiver and No. 2 player from Michigan.

While these rankings are clearly very impressive, I honestly still think the recruiting sites are undervaluing him. Marsh has been a big talking point from both coaches and players since he came to campus in the spring, with Aidan Chiles singing his praises most recently.

While it’s tough to start as a true freshman at any position, I think Marsh has the talent to not only be a starter by game one, but push Foster to be the Spartans' leading receiver.

It may take him a few games to really get going, but by the end of the season he’s going to be an extremely reliable target for Chiles. And I’m guessing by the end of his career Marsh will be one of the favorites of all Michigan State fans.
