Michigan State basketball is hitting the recruiting trail hard lately.

Tom Izzo's hire of Saddi Washington has seemingly paid off as he's been on the trail, working on some of the top targets in the 2025 class and one of them has scheduled a visit.

In fact, four-star power forward target Trent Sisley has set an official visit to East Lansing for Oct. 18, along with a few other trips, according to Dushawn London.

Sisley will take trips to Purdue, Notre Dame, and Indiana in September before going to Michigan State in October. The Spartans getting that last visit feels important because it's one more opportunity for Izzo to make a move and close on the talented power forward from Indiana. It's not going to be easy to reel him away from the Boilermakers and Hoosiers, but the draw of playing for Izzo usually helps in these situations from kids considering staying home.

Izzo is going to have his work cut out for him here, but he's been in on Sisley for years and adding Washington to the staff should only help matters. He now knows who would be developing him as his position coach and Washington has a heck of a track record.

Sisley is a 6-foot-7 power forward from Lincoln City, Ind., who is ranked the No. 59 overall player in the class and 13th-best at his position, per 247Sports. The four-star big man also holds offers from Wisconsin, Ohio State, Northwestern, Iowa, and Louisville.

Michigan State will have a chance to seal the deal on Oct. 18.
