The end of the 2024 recruiting cycle in college basketball is here, and Michigan State basketball's class has been complete for quite some time. All three players have been committed and signed with MSU for awhile, so we have just been waiting for their arrival to campus to get to work.

However, the recruiting sites haven't stopped adjusting their rankings, and all three incoming freshmen have seen some movement from recruiting site On3 in their final rankings.

Jesse McCulloch, Center

Jesse McCulloch is Michigan State's incoming center, and he is the only Spartan to see his final On3 ranking improve. Before Monday, McCulloch was unranked on the recruiting site, but he has shot all the way up to No. 165. He also is the No. 34 center in the country.

McCulloch will likely be relied upon to play significant minutes this season if Tom Izzo chooses to not go into the transfer portal for a new center. My top choice would be for Izzo to get an experienced center from the portal for McCulloch to learn under, but that appears to not be what Izzo thinks.

So McCulloch will likely see the floor more than most would expect in his freshman season, so I just hope that Izzo's potential decision to roll with what's on the roster works out.
