Final record prediction for Michigan State football after spring 2024

Michigan State football's spring practice schedule is now in the past after an exciting Spring Showcase a few weeks ago, so now the only thing left to look forward to is the upcoming season. Sure there will be a lot of exciting recruiting updates throughout the summer, but thinking about the next season and how the Spartans might do is a lot more exciting.

There are a lot of unknowns as Michigan State heads into their first season under Jonathan Smith. A new staff, many new players and new Big Ten opponents are just a few things that make this coming season hard to predict. The roster is also far from complete as Smith and his staff will surely make many additions out of the transfer portal before the season begins.

Sp thinking about all of these unknown variables, I'm still going to do my best to predict how the regular season will unfold for Michigan State as they look to getback to bowl eligibility in year one under Smith.
