Tom Izzo has been aggressive (for his standards) so far this offseason in the transfer portal for Michigan State basketball. He not only has contacted four transfers so far, but he has made the final list for three of those recruits and even had Frankie Fidler on campus this past weekend.

However, even with all the good he has done in the portal so far, the Spartans do not have a commitment from a transfer yet. J'Vonne Hadley who MSU was in on early, has set his sites on other programs, leaving Michigan State in the dust. Frankie Fidler, who was supposed to announce his commitment Monday morning, also pushed his commitment back to an unknown date. So even though Izzo is putting in the work, he hasnt reaped any rewards from his work yet.

The other two targets Izzo has contacted have either not reciprocated much interest or MSU has decided to move on from, so at this point it is really down to Fidler. I don't know about you, but that makes me very nervous with so much unknown in his recruitment at this time.

All that being said, it might be time for Tom to cast a wider net in the portal and reach out to some new transfers.

Here are a few options he could entertain.
