Michigan State basketball no longer an option for J’Vonne Hadley
Michigan State basketball and Tom Izzo have been extremely active in the transfer portal so far this offseason. They have officially made contact with four players in the portal and are seriously recruiting a few of them. One of those recruits the Spartans appear to be extremely interested in is J'Vonne Hadley from Colorado.
Hadley is coming off a solid season where he averaged 11.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Before he played at Colorado, he began his career at Northeastern where he played a season with Tyson Walker. He also is from the same high school as Tre Holloman, which was thought to be another good sign for the Spartans in this recruitment.
If you have been following this recruitment closely, you know how many twists and turns it has taken already. And in the most shocking turn of events yet, Hadley announced Saturday night that Michigan State is no longer in the running in his recruitment.
To get the best picture of how his recruitment went down, I feel it is best to tell the entire story of his recruitment over the past couple weeks. So hold on to your hats and let's dive right in and go over the craziness that was J'Vonne Hadley's recruitment.
