3 bold predictions for Michigan State football vs. Boston College
Michigan State football is back in action on Saturday as the Spartans have their second true road game of the season. This time they’re up against 2-1 Boston College which has been a much better team than most expected.
Just like with the previous three games I’m going to give you my three bold predictions for Saturday’s showdown. I haven’t been very accurate so far, but let’s hope that changes this week.
1. Nick Marsh plays and records 100 receiving yards
In case you aren’t someone super active in social media, specifically Twitter, you probably haven’t seen these rumors yet. Let me state very clearly that these are just rumors, but some are fearful that freshman standout wide receiver Nick Marsh may miss Saturday’s game with an injury.
I, however, don’t think this is true because Marsh’s mom posted Friday morning that she’s on her way to Boston for the game, but part of this prediction is that he will in fact play.
But on top of that, I think Marsh will explode for another 100-yard game.
We all know how Marsh went off against Maryland two weeks ago for 194 yards, but Marsh only combined for three catches and 38 yards in the Spartans' two other games.
I’m very confident that Marsh could go for 100 yards in any game, but he’s not quite at the level where that is ever a foregone conclusion. So I’m predicting another breakout performance from Marsh against Boston College where he’ll exceed 100 yards once again.
