As Moneyball begins and the 2025-26 Michigan State basketball roster participates in the annual Pro-Am, Tom Izzo continues to extend offers to new targets in the 2026 class.

The Spartans are lighting up the scoreboard at Moneyball, but Izzo is focusing on the future already and he's offered a handful of 2026 prospects over the past couple of weeks and the latest came this weekend in the form of four-star shooting guard Jasiah Jervis.

The White Plains, N.Y., guard shared the news on Saturday morning.

Jervis is the No. 7 shooting guard in the class and the No. 61 overall recruit, according to 247Sports. He's also the No. 4 prospect from the state of New York and his offer sheet isn't exactly "elite" but he holds offers from the likes of Stanford, Villanova, Illinois, NC State, Northwestern, Pitt, Rutgers, St. John's, and Wake Forest.

Michigan State is the best offer on his current list.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound shooting guard from New York has the ideal size for the position and is a crafty ball-handler and playmaker who can create his own shots. He also has a quick release that allows him to get shots off in defenders' faces without them having time to react.

Watching Jervis play is refreshing because Michigan State has needed players who can create their own shots and the latest one to come through East Lansing just left the program for the NBA after just one season. Jervis could come in and provide that.

The Spartans are expanding their 2026 recruiting board and it's good to see more top-100 options join the mix. Jervis would fit in nicely in East Lansing.
