One of my favorite recruits in the class and the most likely, in my opinion, to commit to Michigan State, Samson Okunlola could avenge the loss of Kiyaunta Goodwin to Kentucky in the 2022 class.

Michigan State has the appeal of Chris Kapilovic who is one of the most respected offensive line coaches in the business and he just had his first player drafted in AJ Arcuri after two years under his tutelage. A few years ago, it felt like Michigan State had zero NFL prospects on the offensive line, but Kapilovic turned Arcuri into a pro.

Imagine what he could do with one of the best offensive tackles in the country. And also, imagine the playing time promise he could be getting with that group fairly thinned out.

Okunlola is a monster, standing 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds and he still could afford to add a little weight which won’t be tough since Michigan State’s nutrition program has been doing a fantastic job of getting these guys college-ready.

Michigan State is in a really good spot here and while Okunlola doesn’t have any officials planned yet, he likely will take a trip to East Lansing this summer.

Okunlola is ranked the No. 3 offensive tackle and No. 31 prospect in the country.
