The big fish.

Kiyaunta Goodwin is the top target on Michigan State’s board and he was just in East Lansing this past weekend and it seemed like he had an incredible time. He took in a basketball game, was seen all around campus, and spent time with the team and coaches. Goodwin got the red carpet treatment and it feels like Michigan State is trending.

Michigan State is hoping it did enough to sway Goodwin away from Kentucky and there’s a feeling that the Spartans might be the biggest competition to flip him which is saying a lot because teams like Kentucky and Texas A&M have also pushed for him.

Like I said earlier, though, getting that last visit is important.

Goodwin would be an immediate contributor for the Spartans and he’s ranked the No. 25 overall recruit and fourth-best offensive tackle in the class. He’s a five-star recruit and would immediately change the trajectory of the program.

If Mel Tucker is able to flip Goodwin, watch out. This could be the start of a special run.
