2. Five players average in double figures for scoring

Through seven games, there are only two Spartans who are averaging more than 10 points per game on the season: Gabe Brown and Marcus Bingham Jr. I think that they continue to do so through December, but three more guys will average over 10 points per game for the month.

Outside of Bingham and Brown, I think we’ll see three more guys step up offensively as the Spartans start to put up points to match that elite defensive effort.

One of those double-digit scorers will be freshman sensation Max Christie who hasn’t quite broken out just yet and struggled in the Battle 4 Atlantis. I think he settles down and has a big month of December to counteract that slow start to the season. He’s got all the potential in the world to be a superstar.

The next double-digit scorer will be Malik Hall who had a breakout game against Loyola Chicago, showing that he can, in fact, be a go-to guy. He needs to do more of that moving forward.

The last double-digit scorer will be between Julius Marble, Joey Hauser, Tyson Walker, and Jaden Akins. All of them have the ability to do so, but it’ll be interesting to see who steps up.
