Linebackers: B

Like the defensive line, if the linebackers didn’t miss a handful of tackles, this grade would have been much higher but that’s what you run into with a guy like Adrian Martinez — he’s slippery.

Quavaris Crouch had another solid game and it looks like he’s getting comfortable on this defense as he’s all over the field. He finished the game with four solo tackles and seven total, including a sack. He’s been a solid blitzing linebacker all year long and the only complaint I might have is that he sometimes takes angles wrong (same goes for Cal Haladay).

Haladay continues to be solid and he might be the reason Chase Kline entered the transfer portal on Sunday because he shot up the depth chart and put a stranglehold on a starting position. He finished the Nebraska game with eight tackles and a pass deflection.

We didn’t see much from the rest of the linebackers as the top performer outside of the starters was Kline who had two tackles and 0.5 sacks, but he’s now in the portal. It was a solid final performance from the upperclassman.
