Michigan State Basketball: Predicting stat leaders for 2020-21 season
Rebounds: Marcus Bingham Jr.
Predicting any post leaders will be tough solely because Xavier Tillman led those categories last season and there weren’t many “close seconds” on the roster.

Tillman led the way in rebounds and blocks and was the Big Ten defensive player of the year, so his production is going to be difficult to replace, but I’m going bold here with the prediction that Marcus Bingham Jr. takes that next step in his development and leads the Spartans in rebounds.
Aaron Henry is the lead returning rebounder from last season, averaging about 4.6 per game, but he’s not going to make a massive leap with the departure of Tillman as he’s a perimeter player. Malik Hall would be the top returning post player in terms of rebounds and I could see him leading the Spartans in 2020-21, but Bingham Jr. needs to take the next step.
The sophomore big man wasn’t far behind Hall (3.7) at 3.6 rebounds per game and if he’s going to see his minutes increase with Tillman gone, I could see that number at least double.
