1. Mark Dantonio has some big decisions to make

It’s time for Mark Dantonio to sit down and look himself in the mirror. He’s only going to be as good as the company he presents himself with. If he continues to trust Dave Warner to run the offense, he may find himself suffering another disappointing season.

Just two years ago, the Spartans were 3-9 and it was due to a lack of executions as well as play-calling that didn’t play to the strengths of the team.

The same has happened this season.

The offensive line just doesn’t get much of a push and running between the tackles continues to be the norm. Well that and the jet-sweeps to the short side of the field.

Fans are calling for some coaching changes or at least some adjustments in play-calling, but Dantonio doesn’t seem ready or willing to take those drastic measurements.

No, this doesn’t mean Warner must go, but it does mean his role needs to be evaluated and maybe he doesn’t get as big a say in play-calling moving forward. Dantonio has some decisions to make.
