1. Michigan State exacts revenge, covers spread

I know, I know, in my preview for this game, I told you to take the points, but Michigan State is going to come out on fire after hearing just how poor it has played through the first month of the season.

The Spartans are sick of being dubbed a ‘disappointment’ to start the season and they’ll come out on fire and, get this, keep their foot on the gas as the game progresses. Instead of playing not to lose, the staff will keep the playbook open in the fourth quarter, adding a touchdown to make the lead truly comfortable.

The line for this game is 10.5 points in favor of the Spartans and even though I’d usually say take the points, there’s just something about this one that tells me that Michigan State is ready to finally play to potential.

It’s been nearly 10 years since Michigan State took down Northwestern in East Lansing and that’ll all change on Saturday afternoon.
