1. This team isn’t bowl-worthy

All you have to do is look at this one and either shake your head or laugh — or both.

Yes, there are fans out there who truly believe this. I’ve even seen some say that Rutgers could be the only win left on the schedule. That’s actually ludicrous.

Compared to the 2016 squad, this team has depth at just about every position, solid leaders and talent for days. This isn’t the same team that went 3-9 just two years ago, but there are some out there who believe this team will be lucky to win six or seven games.

Sure, anything is possible, but the panic ensuing over the first four games of the season has been mind-blowing.

Michigan State is 3-1 through four games but if you read social media threads during and after games, you’d think it was 0-4.

Give this team time, folks. It’s rare to see a Mark Dantonio-coached team not pick up steam throughout the season. Things will only get better.
