Jefferson is a do-everything athlete out of Muskegon. He stands 6-foot-2 and has the skill-set to be a good quarterback. He possesses the speed to play running back. He also has the physicality to play linebacker. But simply put, Jefferson is a football player and an excellent pickup by the green and white
During Jefferson’s junior year, he ran for 929 yards and 19 touchdowns. While he will not be playing quarterback at Michigan State, he does throw a pretty pigskin.
When he runs the ball, he can take a hit and keep going. He has a great spin move similar to current Spartan LJ Scott. The Spartans have had several players throughout the years who have come to East Lansing playing one position and graduated playing another. There’s a good chance he could be a running back or a slot-type receiver
It also appears that linebacker could be the position the coaches see him at, but Jefferson is a flat-out solid football player. Although, he is a great runner, too, and the backfield could use a player of his caliber.
