How does this team keep doing it? The Spartans fell behind by 12 in the second half but were able to make up ground relatively quickly, tying things up at 41-41 thanks to a 12-0 run.

Just like it did on Sunday against Maryland, Michigan State found a way to overcome a double-digit deficit in the second half to pull off an impressive win. While Michigan State doesn’t want to make this a habit, it’s a good sign that the Spartans are able to shake off poor play and charge up for a comeback — and do so quickly.

With everything going on off the court and Tom Izzo coming under fire lately for his handling of certain off-court issues in the past, you would think this team would be far too distracted to play effectively in three games over a six-day span. However, they’ve done just that, going 3-0 in that stretch since the OTL report was released.
