Think about this for a second: Michigan State went from 3-9 to 9-3 in one year after losing a ton of talent in the offseason and playing predominantly underclassmen. Let that sink in. That’s absolutely insane and if you saw that coming before the season, you need to be a professional gambler.

The Spartans looked like a completely different program this year. Last season, the Spartans looked to be uninspired and stagnant on both sides of the ball. There was very little to celebrate and the players looked to treat each game as a chore rather than something they loved.

With a majority of the team coming back for 2018, the Spartans’ future is incredibly bright. And that’s not even mentioning the fact that Mark Dantonio has put together a couple of nice recruiting classes and the 2018 and 2019 groups are shaping up nicely.
