1. Michigan State will finally play a complete game

Mark Dantonio has said it numerous times throughout the course of the season — Michigan State has yet to play a complete game of football. On Saturday, the Spartans will get that opportunity.

There is a ton of talent in East Lansing and it is only a matter of time that they put it all together. November is the month that championship are won. During Dantonio’s championship runs, he has done well in this month.

The Spartans had two costly turnovers last Saturday. Despite the turnovers, MSU still had an opportunity to win that game. It tells you something about the defense’s ability to keep it in the game. If you take away the three key turnovers from the Notre Dame game as well, this team could be undefeated.

It’s a game of inches and you can bet that is the message that Dantonio has been not only giving his team all year but especially this week.

This is a huge game and one that could propel MSU into the Big Ten East contention. However, MSU will have to come ready to play, ready to tackle Saquon Barkley and keep a sharp focus. If the Spartans continue to play like they have the last several weeks, then it’ll be a long day for them. This team has yet to peak and that is exciting for what it could mean if it plays well Saturday.
