3. Madre London rushes for 100 yards

With the whole LJ Scott driving without a valid license issue, Madre London is likely to get his second straight start for the Spartans. He started last week against Minnesota and played well. He rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and found running room all day long.

London will get the nod on Saturday and he won’t disappoint. The redshirt junior has been waiting for his first true breakout game at Michigan State, and he’ll get it. He’s had just one 100-yard game in his entire career, and that was his second start ever — against Oregon in 2015.

In fact, London rushed 18 times for 103 yards in that contest, breaking off a big 62-yarder to set up a scoring drive for the Spartans. At that point, he looked to be the running back for the next four years, but Scott and Gerald Holmes took over when he was injured against Rutgers.

London has been fighting for snaps ever since, but maybe this is the game he truly regains that consistent starting role. He will post over 100 yards for the first time in over two years and add a touchdown. He will also have a couple of nice catch-and-runs out of the backfield.
