Michigan State football received a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Jacob Isaiah from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Last week was a big one for Michigan State football. The Spartans landed four-star 2019 quarterback Dwan Mathis before the Notre Dame game, three-star running back Eli Collins committed on Friday and he was followed by four-star offensive tackle James Ohonba later in the day.

Sunday was the cherry on top of the recruiting sundae as three-star offensive lineman Jacob Isaia, grandson of Spartan great Bob Apisa, committed to the green and white over dozens of other offers.

The Las Vegas, Nevada, native made it official on Sunday night.

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise seeing as he was on campus this past weekend with his family and his grandfather was being honored by the school. It was the perfect time for Isaia to commit to the Spartans, and he fits right in to the family atmosphere.

Isaia may not be the highest-rated commit in the Spartans’ 2018 class, but he is an Under Armour All-American Game invitee. He will be playing against some of the nation’s top talent in the high school all-star game.

Two offensive lineman commits in the same weekend? That’s great news for the Spartans who desperately need to add depth in the trenches. These were also two ‘Plan A’ targets.
