Michigan State Football: 4-star 2019 OT Spencer Brown plans visit
Michigan State football will be getting a slew of visits next week, including one from four-star 2019 offensive tackle Spencer Brown.
Gearing up for an important fall, Michigan State football is concerned about on-field performance as well as off-field character. Camp starts Monday and there will be plenty of young prospects on hand to see Mark Dantonio’s new-look Spartans and a potential culture change in East Lansing.

One major prospect who will be on campus Monday for the start of fall camp is four-star 2019 offensive tackle Spencer Brown from Commerce Township, Mich. He’s one of the state’s top prospects in the 2019 class.
Brown has been high on the Spartans for some time and his visit on Monday should go a long way in his recruitment. He posted the news of his visit on Twitter Thursday.

Brown had been waiting for an offer from Michigan State for some time before the Spartans finally extended one on May 3. It’s been nearly three months since then and he hasn’t committed to the green and white, but his recruitment has blown up.
In fact, he’s received offers from Temple, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Iowa, Virginia Tech, Missouri and Boston College since the Spartans’ offer. His total now stands at 23.
The 6-foot-6, 295-pound defensive and offensive tackle has all the qualities Michigan State wants at both positions and his versatility is a plus for the coaching staff. He could fit in quite nicely in East Lansing.
The strength is evident when watching his film, but his moves on the defensive side of the ball are surprising for a guy who’s getting recruiting to play offensive tackle. He could be a two-way star for the Spartans, if he were to commit.
