I expect Connor Cook and the passing attack to have their best game of the season. I also expect Aaron Burbridge to be the leader of the receiving corps, but I will be watching Macgarrett Kings more closely. If not for Jalen Watts-Jackson and the “Rangers” special teams play, I have a feeling that we would be looking a little more closely at the wide open dropped fourth down pass by Kings that halted a late drive by the Wolverines.

I hope that made Kings made and lit a fire within. Macgarrett is an absolute freak of an athlete and can make big things happen when the ball is in his hands in the open field. By no means has he had a bad season, but I expected him to break out even more in his final year.

I will be looking for him to take advantage of safeties covering him in the slot and below average corners on the outside. While he will not have more yards than Burbridge, he will lead the team in receptions, making plays all across the field. Michigan State will need to keep the points coming against the “rival” Hoosiers and Kings has to be a big part of that.
