1. Michigan State will finally put a full game together
There’s just no way Michigan State can go another game without really asserting itself as the No. 2 team in college football. The Spartans are really struggling in some aspects of the game and it’s about time MSU puts it all together for a real good performance against a really mediocre squad that is Purdue.

Against Western to begin the year, the run game looked solid while the pass game, the secondary and the special teams struggled. Against Oregon, the run game looked pretty decent as did the front-seven on defense, but the secondary was mediocre, at best. For Air Force, nothing defensively was impressive, but Connor Cook and Aaron Burbridge were unreal. Lastly, against Central, it was the defensive line that stood out.
Michigan State has yet to put a complete game together, but this might just be the game that it does so, and when it does, watch out.
The Spartans may just be one of the most talented teams in the country and quite possibly the best in the Dantonio era, so when a full game is put together like it will be against Purdue, it’s going to get ugly for the opposition.
