Former Michigan State football player Jermaine Edmondson is suing Draymond Green, but Jamal Lyles destroyed him with one tweet.

By now, you’ve probably heard about the lawsuit by former Michigan State football player Jermaine Edmondson against Draymond Green. He’s suing the former Spartan basketball star for an incident that happened last summer in East Lansing where Draymond “slapped” Edmondson in the face.

Green was taken to jail that nice, but nothing came from it immediately. However, Edmondson decided to wait a year to sue Green, stating that he can “still feel his hand on my jaw.” That quote has sent Michigan State Twitter into an uproar.

Former teammates of Edmondson’s have spoken up and it seems no one is taking his side. The former defensive back decided to transfer right before the 2016 season and judging by the tweets, it might have had something to do with the fact he wasn’t well-liked by teammates.

That’s all speculation, though.

Another former Spartan football player, Jamal Lyles, reacted to the news of the lawsuit in his own way, and it may have been the best response yet.

Just check out the tweet that put Edmondson in his place:

Lyles finished his career with the Spartans as the backup tight end in 2016 and is currently working to make an NFL team this fall. However, he might have a career in comedy if this is the type of stuff he posts.

What an absolute dagger of a tweet by Lyles. Showing Edmondson getting stiff-armed by a Western Michigan ball-carrier and using that quote is just too perfect.
