Jase Richardson saw his first NBA action on Thursday night, and he didn't disappoint.

While many Michigan State fans were hoping to watch Richardson join forces with Jaden Akins and Marcus Bingham Jr., the latter didn't end up making it to Summer League after signing a new contract overseas and the former didn't play due to the coach's decision.

Richardson was the only former Michigan State star to take the court on Thursday for the Magic.

The rookie out of Michigan State was Orlando's first-round pick, going No. 25 overall, and he didn't disappoint the fans who tuned in to watch him play. He dropped 14 points in 22 minutes and shot over 50 percent from the floor while making 2-of-3 from deep.

Check out his first-ever NBA highlights:

Richardson played the fewest minutes of anyone in the starting lineup, and yet he was still one of four Magic players who scored in double figures. He was tied for third on the team in scoring, dropping 14 points with an assist, a steal, and a rebound. He was one of just three players to finish with a positive +/-.

It was disappointing to see Akins record a DNP (did not play), but there are still a few more opportunities for him to see the floor in Summer League play. I'd love to see a backcourt with Akins and Richardson like the good old days.

Michigan State fans will get another chance to watch Richardson and Akins on Sunday evening as the Magic take on the Toronto Raptors in their next Summer League game at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
