Another day, another secured official visit for Michigan State basketball.
Over the weekend, Tom Izzo's program locked in multiple official visits while also making some major top schools lists.
Ethan Taylor, a five-star 7-footer in the 2026 class, posted his top schools just a week after getting an offer from Michigan State, and the Spartans made the cut. He's also planning on visiting in October, the same weekend as four-star small forward Jalyn Collingwood who also released his top seven schools on Saturday.
Following those two, rising power forward Quinn Costello, a four-star, also posted his top schools and he has the same visit date as four-str point guard commit Carlos Medlock Jr. (Sept. 5) for Grind Week.
On Monday, another top recruit reported an official visit date with Michigan State.
2026 Top-30 overall recruit Maximo Adams (@MaximoAdams25) has scheduled official visits Kentucky, Michigan State, Kansas, North Carolina, Texas and Duke, he tells @Rivals.

Maximo Adams, a top-40 small forward from California, told Rivals that he was planning official visits with Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Texas, Duke, and Michigan State this fall. And 247Sports reports that his visit dat with the Spartans is Sept. 11.
This isn't an ideal visit date because he'll be the only recruit on campus for Tom Izzo, but that also means that the Hall of Famer can focus all his attention on Adams.
Normally, it's good to have multiple on campus at the same time, especially when they're paired with a currently committed prospect, but Adams will be at Kentucky during Michigan State's Grind Week. So he'll just miss Carlos Medlock Jr., a couple of other top prospects, and countless former Michigan State stars who are coming back for the Grind Week festivities.
Adams is ranked the No. 40 overall recruit and 17th-best small forward in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. He's also the No. 6 prospect from California.
I'm not expecting MSU to land him, but I'd love to be pleasantly surprised.
It's good to see Izzo recruiting at an elite level at the age of 70.
