1. Jase Richardson

Despite all the talent on this roster, this was the easiest selection for No. 1 on this list. Jase Richardson has been nothing short of a star for this team. His numbers aren't eye-popping, but it's obvious that it's primarily due to his share of minutes in the backcourt.

Now, yes, he is fourth on the team in minutes, but with how consistent he is in logging productive minutes, everyone is generally on the same page that he should be getting 26-28 minutes a game and even starting.

He is unbelievably efficient as a shooter, averaging 9.9 points per game on 61.3% (!!) from the field and 54.5% (!!) from 3-point land. He has shown some high-level plays as a passer and has taken over the game at times. He shows up against anyone, not just low competition (eight points on 3-of-5 against Kansas, 13 points on 6-for-8 against Colorado, 18 points on 5-for-8 against Memphis, and 16 points on 5-of-7 against Nebraska).

He has all the makings of a potential lottery pick on his offensive game alone. If his minutes get ramped up and he continues to play well, there is a chance this could be his one and only year in East Lansing.
