Zeke the Wonderdog to perform at halftime of NFL's Thursday Night Football
Death. Taxes. Zeke the Wonderdog catching frisbees at halftime of Michigan State football games.
If you're anything like me, you get fired up for haltime of Michigan State games (especially if it feels like a loss is imminent) because Zeke just gets the crowd fired up. If the first half feels like it's juice-less, you can count on Zeke to come out and fire up Spartan fans with dazzling frisbee catches 20, 30, and even 40 yards down the field.
Zeke has become a Michigan State treasure.
Now, though, he's going national. Everyone in East Lansing already knows about Zeke, but on Thursday night, NFL fans will get acquainted with our favorite four-legged friend.
In fact, Zeke announced on Twitter on Tuesday that he would be in New York for Thursday Night Football between the Jets and Patriots because he'll be performing at halftime. He's going to trade in his Michigan State green for Jets green -- for a night.
This is pretty cool considering all fans know and love Zeke and now NFL fans will get to experience one of his electric halftime performances.
If we're lucky, Amazon will show some highlights of the Zeke halftime show or even a clip or two of him catching frisbees during the Thursday Night Football game.
It's cool to see Michigan State staples earn some attention on a national level.
Maybe if Zeke is lucky, former Michigan State punter Bryce Baringer will toss him a few frisbees during his halftime warmup with the Patriots.
