In case you missed it on Friday, EA Sports released its latest video for the upcoming college football game that is being released on July 19. The video is about five minutes in length and goes into a lot of detail about certain aspects of the game.

The video features many college football teams as they show gameplay throughout its entirety, and Michigan State was seen a few times throughout.

Here is what we learned from the few times that we got to see MSU in the latest video from EA Sports.

Team Rating

While the team rating isn't official yet, Spartan fans got a sneak peak at what Michigan State's overall team rating might be. The team overall currently has an 85 rating with their offense getting an 85 as well and the defense getting a 78.

I was pleasantly surprised seeing Michigan State's rating this high as I think EA Sports could've justified having it lower, but overall I think they got it right. Obviously MSU isn't the best team in the country, so there is room for teams to be higher than them, but Michigan State isn't ridiculously low either. So an overall 85 is probably pretty accurate.

Game day traditions

One iconic tradition that Michigan State has once a season is their Stripe the Stadium home game. This is always one of the best atmospheres each season and a site to see if you're watching the game from home. This feature appears to be included as well and can be seen in the background of the video above when they have a highlight of a game taking place at Spartan Stadium.

Michigan State featured in two plays

Throughout the course of the above video, Michigan State was featured in two plays. While the plays weren't positive ones from MSU's perspective, it's still really cool to see the Spartans being included in general.

The first play MSU was at the Big House where Michigan running back Donovan Edwards was seen beating an MSU defender in the open field. While this is annoying to see, it is quite ironic that the Michigan State player is wearing the No. 1, which just so happened to be Jaden Mangham's number last season. Did EA Sports use him on purpose? Probably not. But it is quite funny to see him get beat by Edwards now that he left MSU for Michigan.

Lastly we got to see Aidan Chiles take a snap but unfortunately get sacked by a Penn State player.

Love to see it.
