9. Tre Holloman

One of the more quiet individuals this Moneyball season so far is Tre Holloman. And it’s not because he hasn’t been playing well, people (myself included) just haven’t been talking about him.

But it’s time to give Holloman his flowers.

Holloman has been running the show for his team, and so far is averaging a massive 27.5 points per game. He’s also adding in 3.5 made threes per game as well.

That is something we got used to seeing from Holloman last season as he was someone who could get extremely hot from behind the arc. But the improvement needs to come in his consistency because there were times last year when he was borderline non existent.

Holloman will be battling Fears for the starting point guard spot this year, and honestly, in my head, it’s a toss-up. I think we likely see both guys getting multiple starts throughout the year and both guys essentially splitting time at the position as well. But if Holloman is able to improve on his consistency, which is already noticeable at Moneyball, then the starting job could be his.
