It's no secret that many fans were deterred by some of Keon Coleman's comments when he entered the transfer portal following the 2022 season. He ultimately ended up at Florida State.
But there is no hate towards Michigan State personally from Coleman himself, as he has so elegantly paid his respect to the university and the fans throughout his draft process, and since getting to the Buffalo Bills.
In fact, who can forget that Coleman was back in East Lansing, sporting a Steven Izzo No. 13 basketball jersey during the final game of MSU Basketball's regular season and senior night?
Spartans Illustrated's David Harns was able to capture plenty of footage and photos of Coleman sporting the jersey from that night.

Theirs's no denying it hurt to see him leave, but never has he lost his love for the school or for Tom Izzo. I mean Izzo did give him the chance of a life-time to play both football and basketball.
Coach Izzo, made a recent appearance on a podcast hosted by Josh Reed from WIVB Sports in Buffalo, the new home for Coleman in the NFL.
Izzo was asked by Reed about what his first thoughts were when he first saw Keon's athletic ability.
"Damn!"

Tom Izzo recruited Keon Coleman to play hoops at Michigan State and knew he had a special type of athletic ability. Here's the Hall of Fame basketball coach: pic.twitter.com/FEK2VAupWj
Izzo also sang praise about Coleman's athletic ability and how he has always been a great personality to have around.
I certainly don't have an ill-will toward Keon, he had to do what was best, and its great to here he and Izzo still have such a bond.
I will never forget the fact that Coleman caught a touchdown pass and scored a basketball against Michigan in the same sports year. That is a true Spartan Dawg in my mind.
