2. Chiles loves what he sees from Nick Marsh

Chiles also took the time to speak about incoming freshman Nick Marsh, and how impressed he has been by him. Marsh is the top recruit in the incoming class for MSU and held firm to his commitment even after Mel Tucker left the program. And Spartan fans should be thankful that he did.

According to 247Sports, Marsh is the No. 107 player in his class. So the expectations for Marsh are high, and he appears to be meeting them.

Chiles shared “We got different attitudes, but he's young, he's got talent. He thrives off talent. I did the same, and we gotta get into the playbook.”

Marsh didn’t disappoint on Saturday and hauled in a 75-yard touchdown on the first play of the second half. So Marsh clearly has the potential, but can he and Chiles put it together this fall?

Not many freshmen flash star potential right away and show they can have huge first seasons but I think Marsh can do just that. With Chiles throwing him the ball, I could see Marsh having a breakout true freshman season. And it sounds like that’s what Chiles is hoping for as he mentioned they’re going to work hard together this summer to get comfortable with one another.
