2. 2013 Big Ten Championship Game

Coming in at No. 2 is another Big Ten championship win this time against the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes.

In the eyes of the entire country, the Spartans had no chance at winning this game. Even though Michigan State entered the game 11-1 and undefeated in Big Ten play everyone wrote this team off because Ohio State was supposedly just too talented. But we all know how that played out.

This 34-24 win was littered with big play after big play, but the thing that stands out in my memory the most is the roller coaster of emotions caused from the massive runs this game saw. The Spartans opened the game on a 17-0 run before Ohio State responded with 24 straight points of their own. But MSU responded once again with another 17-0 run capped off with a Jeremy Langford touchdown run to put the game out of reach.

This win also prevented Ohio State from playing for a national title and got Michigan State into the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1988.
